Sali sul tram e paga contactless

There's an alternative way to buy a € 1,70 TU1 urban ticket: all you have to do is get on board and TAP your contactless payment card on the reader! Your new ticket will be invisible and sustainable.

Already available on the tram service, this simplified payment method is also active on the Padua urban bus service. With your credit/debit card you can purchase a virtual ticket directly using the validator on board the bus.

PURCHASE OF TU1 TICKET € 1,70 – 90 MINUTES

Approach your contactless card to the reader with the green sticker to purchase a TU1 ticket. The TU1 fare applies to journeys using any means of transport (bus and/or tram) tat originate and terminate within the boundaries of the Municipality of Padua, i.e. the Orange Zone.

ONE CARD | ONE TRIP

Each card is valid for one person. If you are traveling with others, each person must have their own card or purchase the ticket through the other systems available by Busitalia Veneto (shops, Self Service, on board, via app).

ONE TAP PER TRIP

If you change transportation within 90 minutes from the first validation, remember to make a new TAP!

Moreover, if 3 or more TAPs are made on the same day, spaced  more than 90 minutes apart, the system charges the best fare of € 4,70, which corresponds to the cost of a daily ticket.
